About Our Tours

All tours are led by Michelle or James Nevius and feature a mix of stops that highlight the history, architecture, and cultural development of the neighborhood. We are both historians who believe that the best way to experience New York City is up close and on foot.

“Add an Hour”

 

For those who want to step outside the boundaries of our traditional 2-hour tours, we now offer the option to add one hour in a nearby neighborhood to create a more in-depth and wide-ranging tour experience.

Below is a list of the tours the can be joined into a 3-hour itinerary. These tours cost a flat fee of $120 for groups of 1, 2, or 3 people or $30 per person for groups of 4 or more.

1) Lower Manhattan can be paired with Five Points/Chinatown.

Lower Manhattan, SoHo/NoLita, or The Lower East Side.

3) SoHo can be paired with Five Points, Greenwich Village, The East Village, or The Lower East Side.

5) The Lower East Side can be paired with Chinatown or SoHo.

 

6) Greenwich Village can be paired with The East Village or SoHo.

 

7) The East Village/Gramercy Park tour can be paired with Greenwich Village or SoHo.

9) Central Park can be paired with either The Upper East Side or The Upper West Side.

 

10) The Upper West Side can be paired with Central Park or Riverside Park.

 

11) Riverside Park can be paired with Morningside Heights.

 

 

At this time, the tours of Brooklyn Heights, 42nd Street, and Harlem do not have the option of an additional hour.
